Trudeau won’t be able to demonize Conservatives this time, says O’Toole

This week, John Ivison is joined by former Conservative leader, Erin O’Toole, to take a look at the return of Parliament on Monday.

O’Toole, who is now president of strategic intelligence firm ADIT North America, said he doesn’t see anything on the horizon that might change the nature of the political contest in Canada in the same way that Kamala Harris’ entry into the U.S. presidential race has turned it on its head.

The CBC headline today is "Canada is getting poorer in comparison to peers". And Trudeau thinks we are tired of him? People LOATHE him and look forward to his replacement. Both he and his party, to be clear.

Everyone paid by tax dollars should be required to serve Canada for 25 years in order to earn a pension. Your soldiers do. Parliament should be mandated to six years or two full terms, split time allowed. That would leave them with nineteen years to commit to their pension.

I have always voted Conservative because I have always supported their policies but when O’toole was leading the Conservatives I spoke to Poilievre and told him I can’t vote Conservative because he’s a Liberal and has bent over backwards to along with Trudeau’s policies..
