I LOVE the fact that Rexy is just like “I really don’t wanna be here” instead of a blood thirsty monster. Humans are just an annoyance to a dinosaur loved it! 🦖

As much as I'm eager to see Dominion, all watching prologue does is intensify my desire more to see a reboot of Walking with Dinosaurs or something similar.

I love how rexy at drive in didn't eat anyone. It's more like she's either panicking, exhausted, or saying "I'm too old for this
sh💩t!"

The opening sequence is just amazing. No music in the background, just dinosaurs living. Reminds me of The Land Before Time.

Narrator of The Land Before Time: Millions and millions of year's ago, this planet was ruled by the mightiest of all...the Dinosaurs.

Hopefully the first official trailer doesn't spoil too much like Fallen Kingdom did.

As soon as I saw the mosquito it all clicked. Absolutely brilliant stuff I cannot wait for it to come out

I think some of the species could change into species that lived in the same or roughly the same time period and place with T.rex.
Dreadnoughtus→Alamosaurus
Oviraptor→Anzu
Nasutoceratops→Triceratops
Moros→Pectinodon
Iguanodon→Edmontosaurus

With Giganotosaurus being an exception as it seems to have important role in the plot.

I am sick of T.rex losing as

Would’ve been a good opportunity to see T. rex fight triceratops tbh. That’s an iconic fight between the two most iconic dinosaurs of all time, so honestly, big missed opportunity…

Oh my gosh I have the same energy for that rex/giga fight. I’ve seen a lot of nature documentaries growing up so to me that fight was good and realistic but no large animal dies THAT FAST!

Large animal fights in nature docs usually end where the loser has his ego bruised, has scratches and sometimes has deep cuts but RARELY there’s a death after a fight and that’s usually a while after the fight when he bleeds out or too injured to live.

Saw it this morning and it blew me away!!! Yes!! The tagline should be:
"The Adventure 65 Million Years In The Making Comes To An End."

I really liked it and it felt like a documentary of it.

I’m so hyped and this is the only footage we’ve seen so far

The Giganotosaurus looks ridiculous and the T. rex simply existing to get its ass kicked yet again, just to establish that another dinosaur is badass, is piss poor writing. In fact, I'd like to know why they hate the T. rex so much.

The scene where Rexy was running in the forest, except for getting chased by the helicopter, reminded me a lot from the first Dino Crisis.

We DO actually see what happens to the Rex (one of those, blink and you miss it type of things). Right as the Giga drags the Rex around the curb, holding the Rex’s neck at a tilted angle, and as it bites down the neck again that’s when it snaps. You actually see the Rex go limp right as the camera pans down.

"I actually enjoyed this sequence a lot, because it looks and feels like two wild animals going at it, and the environment adds to the ambiance of everything too."

This has been 'Klayton out of context', thanks for joining us and don't forget to like, share and subscribe for more scintillating and saucy bits from our favourite disembodied voice. 👍

I can’t get over the light feathering on the trex. It was absolutely stunning

the fight is not Jurassic Park III all over again, it's a clear set-up for the movie, the original Cretaceous Rexy loses against the Giganotosaurus, but the present-day Rexy will win, unlike her past counterpart that looked like a juvenile and less experienced specimen, she's older, she's bigger and she's got way more experience on her back, if this was the only fight between the two, do you really think it would've been this short? You said it yourself, the Rexy vs I-rex fight was great and epic, and Colin directed it, and he directed this movie as well, now, I don't know if he has been capable to create something as good as that or even better, but the REAL fight between Giga and Rexy will be at least up to the one in JW.
7:17 let's clarify, the theatrical preview version of this prologue stopped at the Rexy's print frame, the extra footage we see here is very short
And yes, Colin confirmed this is not part of the movie, but a promo short:
"Initially we had considered that this would be part of the film, " he says of the five-minute prologue, which now stands alone as a short film rather than being part of the final cut of Jurassic World Dominion. It’s a novel way to get these scenes out into the world, rather than leave them on the cutting room floor"-IGN

The opening felt like a mix of The Land Before Time's opening and the opening of Disney's Dinosaur movie (the one with the Carnotaurus in it). I can't wait to see Rexy fight the Giganotosaurus in the final battle of the movie.

I loved the prologue. Still not a fan of the godzilla-esque design for the giga but I still liked it. Of all the dinosaurs we saw, I think the Oviraptor and Quetzelcoatlus are my favorites. Can't wait for more

I can't praise John Schwartzman's cinematography on Jurassic World enough. He truly is one of the best cinematographers in the business and Jurassic World was the first movie I saw in a movie theater in which he served as cinematographer and I was highly impressed by his work on that movie, along with Michael Giacchino's score and his use of John Williams's iconic theme, Trevorrow's direction and the visual effects. I think Schwartzman's work, based on the visual look of the prologue, will be equally as impressive in the final version of the film. I will go on to say that as much as I love Giacchino's work on the music of the Jurassic World movies, I think it would've been awesome if Trevorrow had brought Williams back to score this installment. Nevertheless, I have complete confidence in Giacchino's ability to create an iconic score.
