There’s a lot to like here. The included keyboard, while having chiclet size keys, is actually very comfortable and easy to type on. It’s among the nicest small keyboards I’ve used which says a lot given how I generally dislike keys this size. They are well spaced and have decent travel and springback to them. The trackpad is wider than I’ve seen on most small devices and works nicely once the touch to click is disabled.

Performance is about the same as other Intel Atom Bay Trail devices. It’s usable and will function nicely with most low-impact applications like Office (Word, Excel, etc) as well as web browsing and email. Gaming performance will be limited to casual games and things like Minecraft that won’t demand too much of the hardware.

I like the ports they chose to include. Two USB ports, one USB 2 the other USB-C. Both are running at USB 2 speeds so they won’t be as fast as more expensive devices. Charging is done through the USB-C port. There’s also an HDMI port, so it’s possible to connect a keyboard, power, and external display to turn it into a desktop. It will run at a max 1080p for driving that external display.

It feels pretty solid with a magnetic latching mechanism. I also like that it prevents damage by disconnecting the tablet when it’s pushed back too far from the keyboard base.

Overall this is a good value for $299 and a great choice for kids.

I bought this PC last week as a second laptop to take on trips and work as my Asus G751 is just too heavy. I'm a Copywriter and the keyboard is just perfect for its size and the keys feel quite confortable. Over all this tablet is perfect for web browsing and light work. I bought the 64Gb version and added a 64Gb microSD card.

I bought this exact spec one, it died today :/

Brilliant laptop for basic computing, I used it every day in college. I loved typing on it.

Looking to replace it now, and I'm tempted to just get a new one, that battery is very good.

Hi @Lon Seidman, great video. Quick question: my budget allows for either the HP Pavilion X2 or the Lenovo Yoga Tab 2 with Windows. Which one of the two do you think is the more powerful one? Not a very tech-language oriented person here, so I'm not sure what specs I should be looking at to compare the two. What'd be your recommendation? Thanks
