The Lore of Valentino in Hazbin Hotel

One of the most important overlords is a character called Valentino. So what is his lore?

Valentino is a moth sinner demon and one of the three v overlords. He was hispanic when he was alive and died in the 1970s. , which fits him pretty well since he’s a pimp.

He’s been described as charming, controlling and extremely sadistic. He is normally seen smoking and he can control this smoke however he pleases. As we see in the addict video, he uses this smoke to manipulate his favourite employee angel dust. He also has a large collection of firearms.

In the old hazbin instagram accounts we were introduced to valentino’s pet fly-dog queef. Eventually he killed him. In helluva boss we saw more of these dogs and found out they’re called quievies. So this means that valentino didn’t even name his own pet.

The irony that Valentino is a moth and Angel is a spider, but Angel is the one trapped in his own web and Valentino acted like a flame. (The saying “Like a moth to a flame” but Valentino himself IS the flame and now attracted the other “moth”/victim by his light.)

Just because you like a villain character, doesnt mean you condone their actions
Villains can be interesting, good looking, fun, etc- and still be very bad people
So long as their actions arent excused and are actively acknowledged, liking a villain is not a bad thing

I’m excited to see how Alastor deals with him in the show. He will probably hate Valentino because 1.) Valentino is with Vox, and 2.) Valentino’s entire business model is based around exploiting weaker sinners, and it’s canon that Alastor despises those who pick on the weak

Valentino is pretty cool and I love that his name means ladies man, which is perfect for him. Although I'm a little scared of him because he abuses Angel Dust especially during comics that he appears in like Rescues and Revelations for example.
