I found big thief quite recently and Masterpiece was one of the first songs I heard, from theur NPR performance. I love that version but was sad to find out that the studio version was a bit more agressive. This cover captures what I love about that song. The painful lyrics and the vocals covered in some kind of despondency. Thank you for bringing this to me. Absolutely wonderful. 🌊🌊

I have watched this so many times and am confounded as to why there's not more views. Just exquisite. Obvi a different thing from the OG but such a beautiful take/cover. It's also a primo version to harmonize with for anyone practicing harmony vocals.
