In response to comments calling this fake, I was recording as I was doing a unit for college on how to build a PC. I know, how ironic that it blew up during this. Corsair ended up refunding me for the failed PSU and other destroyed components.

Anyway, thanks all for watching my PC die a quick death :)

A good PSU will only pop like this. Bad ones will set fire to the entire system

I can imagine the smell. The smell of anxiety

Already got the PSU out.
Scratched screws
No warranty void stickers
Wearing safety glasses
So scared of touching the PSU

Definitely a bad PSU

This sound always races my heartbeat up.

You inverted the polarity. The fan spins backwards and the electolytic capacitor blows up. This is fake. You clearly opened it as the screws are scratched, and you took it out of the pc.
