I recently bought from Uad both compressors (1176, dbx160). I have combined them with the eq pultec passive eq collection which sounds nice on the snare (pultec with 1176). the dbx sounds better on the kick. On the toms I still struggle to find the right setting to achieve the result I want!

I would like to ask you about mixing drums with pultec passive eq collection, is the dbx160 or the uad1176 compressor more suitable? Which of the two compressors would you recommend?
