notice how all the horrifying and bad memories songs feature mainly the violin? but when its comforting and a memory sunny needs to remember its the piano. Its showing the guilt and the need to feel and remember how warm and forgiving mari was in sunnys time of need

DUET Is sad and happy in my opinion. Its just the fact that you do have to let things go- thats the hardest part of memories. The song begins with piano and ends with violin showing the fact that sunny is now alone. But the happy part is showing that Mari is now in a good place and sunny learns to take that in. In the end sunny has his memories and yes, they are sad looking back on but hr has them and hes glad he does(my opinion(s)

God this game will never leave my mind. It will remain a memory at the back of my head for years and years. What an amazing game it was.

am i the only one who smiled at the final duet? it made me happy

finally mari has some peace knowing her brother will carry on and Sunny is remembering and accepting what happened and taking his happy memories as a motivator to push forward while not continuing to cling on to the old memories because now he's going to make new ones?
my opinion but was surprised when everyone was crying.

The final boss is the literal definition of the quote "You are your own worst enemy. It is your negative thoughts that hold you back, nothing else."

No game will ever be as iconic and sacred in my heart as Omori. The blatant disregard for the norms for video games and general safety from any controversial topics has made this game the best of this generation. Omocat turned away from the growing horde of mindless cash grabs and made one of the most emotional, terrifying yet beautiful works of art I have ever seen. God bless them, Omori will forever stay in my mind, and my heart.

Dumb comments I have

0:00 the most beautiful song in any ost ever. Period.

7:22 the way it subtly speeds up/slows down at different points makes me think the player of the piano is trembling, maybe crying.

8:24 feels like Minecraft music and this is from someone who’s been playing Minecraft since very early on so it’s very nostalgic.

9:40 maybe not as climactic as most rpg final bosses, but damn if this isn’t the most suiting song for Omori. It’s in only violin too

man honestly, the good ending (good morning) is really nice because its a song to relieve of pain, sadness, guilt, etc. this time everything is going to be okay.

What I enjoyed most about this game is that it wasn't afraid to be emotionally raw or vulnerable. In my opinion, black space to the end is amazing in the sense that it didn't need a lot of dialogue or over the top actions to show the truth that was hidden for such a long time.
I could feel connected with Sunny when he was gathering the pictures near the end and putting everything together. It was such a simple segment, but it was enough to make you feel something and at least understand the pain that the characters were holding on to for so long.
Also, the music adds a new level of emotion onto the existing feelings already there. Kind of like figurative salt brushed in a wound. I felt that Omori's Boss Theme, Lost Library, and especially the Final Duet add more feeling overall to the player's experience.
And for the Final Duet, it just encapsulates the waves of emotion running within the scenes of Mari and Sunny playing together for one last time. Everything about the last 1-2 hours of the game was so prominent and raw, and I feel that is something that will be remembered and cherished for almost anyone who experiences Omori for years to come.

I still think that "It Means Everything" is worthy of being on this. It invokes a human emotion that can only be described as a mix of hatred and sadness and I love it for that.

I love how the violin sounds so emotional, but the piano seems to make things sound happier. As both a violin and piano player, I am obsessed with Final Duet!

A Home For Flowers (Daisy) just feels so ominous. It might just be because of the cutscene it had but something just feels off and it gives off the vibe of a happy memory before something tragic happens.

OMORI's theme only has violin, and Sunny hated the violin. Just thinking about it makes me cry. I love this game so much.
