Does the spindle shut off once the cut is done? (X-carve, we had to shut off the router manually)?

I'm hoping you guys can do a 'setup' video in the near future that shows how to put this beast together out of the box. I think that would be helpful for some.

We are seriously considering the 4x2 for our business. A few questions. As for cutting 3/4 plywood how many passes does it need? Any ideas how long a cutting bit will last? And what kind of life can we expect out of the machine?

Is the Pro able to be stored vertically like my current x-carve?

Fell in love with the 4x2 !!! Its a good looking machine !!!
Quick question: so if the spindle automatically shuts off at the end of the cut, can you eliminate using tabs from having them fly off the table or is it still recommended ?

Does the dust collection shroud move up and down with the Z axis, or is it fixed in place? I couldn't tell in the video, and the manual adjustment makes it look like you have to set it once throughout the entire cut, which seems like it wouldn't work on pretty much anything other than the most basic of cuts.

1:17 The 4' spec is due to limits of transmission with threaded shafts; a longer gantry would warrant a timing belt.

I compare the x carve prob with the mill right power route xl. Same size cut the same with two exceptions, the router and spindle and the price. Mill Right uses a Makita router and you use a spindle. Mill Right $5600.00 and Inventible X Carve Pro 9400.00. Both cnc routers does merely the same and there are more like Vivid with a high end price on it as well. In the future if there any making in a CNC machine in the middle of the x carve and pro that can be affordable?

Is there any limitation as to what can be above the X-Carve Pro as it carves? I want to have upper cabinets above them but not sure if the vacuum can be rigged in a way so there is plenty of room to move.

Is there a video showing the machine working with material other than wood, maybe acrylic, aluminum, PCV, ect?

What it the longest cutting size for the C-carve pro? On the website says 4’ by “unlimited” does that mean I can make my table 4’ x 10’?

Can you run the machine with software other than Easel?

What size bit shaft again, I know you said it, but I can't find that section.

Can you use different software to control the spindle or you get stuck using easel?

Wish it was a few thousand less. At this price point i think id just spend some extra and go with an avidcnc 4x4 setup

You say $6, 500 and I went to order today...$8, 999 is the price. Massive difference. This is causing me to look elsewhere.
