The stance is something to look at also....with such wide stance you are more grounded and hence it's tougher to be agile....front foot only approach to go towards the ball is the only easier option they feel...but if stance is not that wide...preferably 8 to 10 inches....it allows you to be more agile on your toes and move easily on back foot with soft hands
