Dedede has been redesigned alot more than getting possessed by some abnormal entities

A lot of people say: he isn't perfect because he gets a redesign every game.

BUT THAT'S WRONG! He is perfect because of that!

Think about it, beauty standars (like anything else in life) change every day, every hour, every seconds, EVERY SINGLE INSTANT.
Any average imperfect person wouldn't be able to keep up to such thing.

But Dedede... Dedede is the exception.

Because he has the ability to change his appearance whenever and however he wants, he is able to keep his beautiful form constantly. He is the pinnacle of beauty... HE IS PERFECT.

King dedede is just a pretty complex character so I guess it makes sense why they need to change it all the time.

dedede in rtd, triple deluxe and planet robobot looked fairly similar. You could tell HAL made huge changes in star allies and now kirby and the forgotten land.

I actually like the fact that this Dedede looks more like his Kirby 64 design. Which from looking at the way this game was made took inspiration from.

Forgotten Lands was great but I really don’t know how to feel about the Dedede model, I’ve never noticed many changes between his designs aside from super obvious ones related to his battles themselves, but this new one is weird to me. He looks like a Club Penguin character now since his head and body are fused.

I really hope they keep DDD's design the same from here on out. I love DDD's Dreamland 3 and 64 design. It really goes well with the other character designs around him. That is to say, it helps him mesh in better. This makes it that DDD now has had 3 games that are pretty much the same look for him. Also, this current design I love much better than his design in Triple Deluxe to Star Allies. Return to Dreamland's was tolerable. The only older design of DDD I like besides DL3 and 64 is Super Star Ultra's. But, I don't think they transferred that design too well into 3D.

I’ll admit I wasn’t too sure about the forgotten land design when I first saw it but over time I’ve gotten used to it but I do prefer his RtDL/triple deluxe designs

I like this iteration of king dedede more since it is reminiscent of his design from Kirby 64

I'd say his new design looks more like his design in dreamland 3 cutscenes than 64.
