Amazon Instant Video fail on Sony Bravia KDL 50W805C

We recently bought one of Sony's AndroidTV-based LED panels. Most smart features work fine, but we can't get Amazon Instant Video to cooperate.

Any thoughts?

Yeah, I've got the same issue... frustrating as it's the only place to get UHD stuff in the UK, .

I just purchased a Sony 49" X900E and I did the firmware update. I have been a Prime member for years and I watch Amazon movies and shows via a PC connected to the TV this way for a long time. I tried the Amazon App in the Sony TV and like in your video everything works until the actual content starts to play then the screen goes black. I still get the audio but no picture. I go back to the PC and it works great. So this seems like an issue Sony and Amazon need to sort out.

This is probably of no use to you now but I have an amazon fire tv box. My issue is that if kodi has been opened previously then amazon video fails to start. Force closing kodi or rebooting the device fixes it for me.

hallo there, i am think off buying this Sony Android tv.
But now i have read that there ar some problems with the tv..
one of these is that the tv reboots it self and when you have a ci+ card and you are zappen the info bar Will not go away on top of the screen.
have any of you guys have one of the problems or others ..
