A "dark horse" this week, and picking up steam. Sound of Freedom stars Jim Caviezel, and is based on the true story of Tim Ballard's sting operation against human traffickers. Here's my review of SOUND OF FREEDOM!

The fact that no celebrities, tv network, news, politicians haven’t mentioned this movie, speaks volumes

"this film is not about right vs left it's about saving children"

Thank you JJ

Saw this movie last night. Definitely shook up everyone in the theater. At the end of the movie, no one stood up, no one talked, no one went on their phones; it was just silent contemplation. I've never been in a theater where so many people were touched by one simple movie. The message needs to be heard and this movie does a perfect job of doing that.

As a trauma therapist I've worked with many women who've survived being trafficked from a young age. This happens in our community and most people have no idea. Thank you for reviewing this and bringing attention to this movie that will help raise awareness to this very real & relevant issue. This review does so much good; thank you.

As someone raised in church, and as the child of pastors, I've been very critical of the "Christian movie" tropes and the pandering many of those films do to the middle-aged church mom crowd. This film and other projects done by Angel Studios are legitimately good while being "Christian". Those don't have to be mutually exclusive

In Brazil, children disappear everyday and nobody cares. This movie is very important to bring awareness to the world.

Back in the late 80's I worked as a hospital volunteer on a rape crisis hotline. We had so many child cases we developed a comprehensive treatment center for sexually abused children. I met children and police, in the Emergency Room, went to court as an advocate with children as young a 4 yrs old, who had to testify against their abusers in front of them. We worked with Law Enforcement in many ways, and helped with a necessary task force to address Satanic Ritual abuse of children. Etc Etc Etc. I love this movie, everyone who supported it, and Tim is a genuine real life hero. In our experience in the 80's we encouraged all involved in the rescue, prosecution and after care. to pray for help and protection..that is reality too. Thank you for reviewing the movie...that Disney bought from Fox and shelved for 5 yrs (that speaks for itself, doesn't it.) and the original producers fought Disney to win the rights to it back, and then (Angel Studio) agreed to present it in every possible venue. And thank you for addressing the outstanding, awesome music that helps make the movie GREAT. Everything about it, is GREAT.

Much respect Jeremy for reviewing this film. You’re a man of class, and professionalism for doing your job of seeing and reviewing all relevant movies that are at the box office without bias. 👏👏 👏

It really warms my heart to see such a big name as Jeremy spreading the word about this movie when so many others wouldn't. Major respect to you, Jeremy.

This movie wasn’t even in my radar. So glad I saw it. In my opinion, it’s the most impactful movie of the year.

This movie is a must see. Very powerful. I saw it on the 3rd and it is still with me. The audience was quiet through it all, grabbing Kleenex as the exited. Makes you grateful for those who have been rescued, sad for those children still being trafficked. God has blessed Tim Ballard, giving him the strength to do this job.

Absolutely insane how this movie is being slandered almost everywhere. Politics don't belong in the discussion of human trafficking, so when I first heard about it I was a bit put off, i didn't care about that. I just want to know if it's a good movie, and I'm happy you reviewed it for what it is.

as a contributor financially to a San Diego, CA, based home for young people that were subjected to human trafficking at young ages, I am so glad this movie is doing well at the box office

This was a great movie, but it is devastating and haunting. I have now found myself on a mission to help these kids. I saw it 5 days ago and with my hubby and 3 friends, now we are amped to start raising awareness and money to fight and support organizations doing this work. This movie instantly had me doing research on how I could help in my area, which I think is why this movie was made.

If not me, then who? If not now, then when?

Jeremy, you have never sold your soul. Thank you for being the ONLY BIG reviewer who did a review.

Looking at Stuckmann a little different now (he doesn’t want to review this but will review everything else hitting theaters), probably due to the “relationships” he’s made making his feature.

The point is, thank you for being the man’s man.

We all know why Jeremy (and a lot of us) didn’t hear about this movie. We all know why this movie, which was made back in FREAKIN 2018 hasn’t seen the light of day until now. (And almost didn’t see the light of day at all thanks to Disney buying Fox!)
This world is FULL of evil, and we MUST combat it!

Thank you for giving this movie the recognition it deserves, Jeremy!

Jim Caviezel has been a family friend for almost 40 years.
He’s been so passionate about getting this movie out, it’s been such a ridiculous shit show.
I’m thrilled for him that it’s finally out, that it’s being appreciated, and of course the story of Tim, & what’s happening to children is being told!!
Thank you for bringing attention to this movie!

Just barely saw this. It was the most awkward silent family walk back to the car. We were speechless with contemplation and the movie basically said everything for us. Incredible movie. It truly moved me.
