Donating bone marrow is important because so many diseases like leukemia, lymphoma, and other fatal diseases require bone marrow for their treatment. This is a difficult process because only 1 in every 4 individuals finds their bone marrow match. Donating bone marrow is not a risk to your life, in fact it can help save another person’s life.
