Medical testing found no evidence that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) suffers from “a seizure disorder” or experienced a stroke “or movement disorder such as Parkinson’s disease” when he froze in front of reporters twice this summer, congressional doctor Brian Monahan wrote in a letter to the senator Tuesday.

EDIT: Guys also see my updates
It is truly disheartening to witness how politicians often cling to their positions of power, prioritizing their own interests over the needs of the people they are meant to serve.

It's not normal to freeze like that He shouldn't be driving a car or operating heavy machinery or running the country or anything like that....

There should be term limits for Senators.

He definitely has health issues. The whole world can see that, doesn’t matter what some paid-to-say Doc is telling us.

Well, by all common means of testing, if you don't have a seizure while hooked up to an EEG, then it won't show any seizures. I highly doubt its an ischemic stroke, because that might not appear on a CT, but it would on an MRI. Also, the only way I'm aware of diagnosing Parkinson's is with a clinical exam, or a DaTscan, which they don't mention. Basically, this Doc is covering for him with creative speach. He's full of shit and expects the American People to believe it. No sane person with even a smidge of clinical experience could look at McConnell's spells and say, "nothing wrong with him."

BS, it's becoming hard to trust any medical doctor that attends to geriatric government officials. We need term limits.

Disgusting how they selfishly hang on to their positions of power.

The fact that he doesn't acknowledge it afterwards is a clear indication that it's something serious. If it was lightheadedness or dehydration he would be able to say "sorry about that i just needed a minute", but he seems to not even be aware anything happens and comes back confused as to where he is or what's going on. He needs to find a better doctor or do more tests if they're saying nothing is wrong.

You realize of course, that due to privacy laws the doctors have a choice of A) saying what Mitch wants them to say, or B) not saying anything. Disclosing something that their patient does not want disclosed is NOT an option for them.

As a medical professional, I find these lack of findings even more critical for Senator McConnell. "Freezing up" for seconds causes me concern that damage from his earlier concussion is suspicious.

Term limits are a must.

Where are the families?

Where is the leadership?

No wonder why our government is a complete corrupt cesspool.

Soon they'll be wheeling him in and voting for him. What a disgrace our country has become.

WE NEED to instate TERM LIMITS for Congress (2 terms of 4 years each) with (1) no life time pensions. (2) only via a vote from U.S. Citizens can give them a raise or lower their pay.

I'd really like a second opinion on that please, from a doctor who is completely apart from politics. Someone who can be completely objective. What? Did he just all of a sudden fall asleep with his eyes open? Twice? And explain all the falling. Any person in their right mind, without an agenda, can see something is up with him medically. Come on!

He had what’s called a focal seizure. The capitol doctor know this. It’s sad because both parties only care about keeping their party in seats.

I am 68 and I have those blanking out moments in the hot weather. Dizziness, vertigo, dehydration. I’m completely functional but I’m not on call, not making decisions for masses, not clinging to power, not pretending nothing happens now that I’m older. I think elders should be given respect and a place in government where they can be of service, be consulted. But no longer the leaders they might’ve been 25 years prior. It’s absurd.

And they wonder why we don't trust a frigging thing that comes out of their mouths.

These politicians are rotting from the inside out right before our very eyes 😅 You could see the fear on the turtles face thinking he was about to kick the bucket. He sold his soul to the devil and he knows it’s almost time for him to collect 😈

Mitch's response: "I'm fine. I'm going to not acknowledge this just like I don't acknowledge that 99.9% of the universe hates me and wants me gone."

There's comes a point in a politician's life when actual legislation and good governance gives way to simply holding on to power come hell or high water. It happens after about the first week they're sworn in.
