All hospitals need a keeper of their reputation. That means CEOs need to be reading and responding to those online reviews. If you’re not regularly reviewing your online reputation, your hospital is at risk of losing its existing and potential patients to another healthcare provider.
Audiogram A: All hospitals need a keeper of their reputation. That means CEOs need to be reading and responding to those online reviews. If you’re not regularly reviewing your online reputation, your hospital is at risk of losing its existing and potential patients to another healthcare provider.
Audiogram B: Your hospital website is an opportunity to provide insights into your patient experience and patient journey. Some hospitals are missing out on a major marketing opportunity to directly address patients through their websites. Your online presence needs to be current. Your website is not for your current patient, it’s for your next patient, your new patients and patients looking for a new healthcare provider.
Audiogram C: Patient facing thought leadership pieces such as podcasts, blog posts and e-books on specific health conditions help to build trust with your patient community. Creating booklets on some of the most common illnesses or health conditions, such as breast cancer, provide guidance on how your hospital can offer help at an anxious time, while building trust.
Audiogram D: Understanding the patient journey is essential for hospitals to connect with their communities. Hospital leaders need to understand that your website plays a key role in attracting patients to your organization. A neglected website reflects badly on your practice. The patient journey is critical, but you can't understand the patient journey unless you talk to the patient.
