Mainstreaming green infrastructure: Digital master-planning and design of Green Infrastructure in Wales, China and the US

Welsh Water 2050 sets out the direction of travel to install sustainable urban drainage systems in all urban communities greater than 2,000 people by 2050. In this video, we explore the approaches that have been taken to roll-out sustainable urban drainage systems across Shanghai, New York and South Wales and highlight best-practice that can be used to scale green infrastructure implementation across Wales. This video showcases the use of digital automation, machine-learning, design standardization and BIM modelling to develop green infrastructure master-plans and designs.

In this video, we showcase workflows that have use digital automation, machine-learning, design standardization and BIM modelling to develop both green infrastructure city masterplans as well as detailed designs.

Great presentation! I often think that more could be done in London and the UK considering the high rainfall and recycling / purposely using the rainfall water in the city. Definitely going to research initiatives in Wales in more detail. Thank you!
