Take attendance in Google Meet

The settings now don't have "Host Control". Its on the bottom right side. But the attendance tracker is not in there.

Great morning! Quick question....this is a great tool for tracking attendance on the live Google Meet. Is there a way to track attendance/activity once the meet is finished, and a member goes back and watches the recorded Google Meet? Thanks in advance for your help

there is no "attendance tracking" in the host controls any longer. has that feature been taken out or is there a new way to track attendance. kindly assist

What is really missing imho is the auto-admit, or the ability for invitees to join before the organizer joins.
If the concern is security (which is great), then delegating this option to the organizer will help: say if the organizer uncheck a box “auto-admit” only then accessing the meeting will be subject to admit/deny.

Seems like a very useful feature for recording attendance. A comment below asks whether or not it can record participant duration. It seems to me that, YouTube analytics tracks this very metric or something similar. Therefore, could this code or something close to it be used in the Workspace environment as well to capture duration?
