Intro to Exponential Functions
Показать описание
This was an introductory activity we did for the first lesson on exponential functions. It has you recognize that exponential functions have a constant multiplier (b) and a starting value (y-intercept or "a" in the equation). It has you write the equation for the exponential function given the pattern of numbers for x and y, and then see that the graph has horizontal asymptotes because if you continue the pattern to the left in exponential growth the value will keep decreasing to 0, and if you continue the pattern to the right in decay, it will also approach 0.
