That specialized head for the Thanator makes me think Lego could release an Obi Wan riding his Boga set soon!! It would be such a good fit!

I can only see the types of MOCs people will make using the unique Banshee and Thanator heads, as well as the Banshee wing pieces. Also, I hope LEGO will release a set that includes Jake Sully riding the Great Leonopteryx.

Weird they went for kid play sets when the movie came out 10 years ago. They shoulda gone for the adult style diorama display sets. Coulda done some cool scenes from the movie

It really is a miss that the horses don’t have the articulation in the back legs that normal horses have. I feel like this would have been pretty easy to do considering the normal horses have it. Apart from that I like these sets, they seem to find a good balance between play and display.

Now that Lego is doing all this "old" movie sets Id love to see the Mobile Lab from Jurassic Park: The Lost World. I remember trying to build it when I was a kid

These sets are Beautiful! I would buy them all if the prices weren’t so ridiculous. I especially love the way that it comes with connecting terrain in each set that can make your stuff in the set fly or jump.

Personally I think I'll get the Banshee Flight set. That's probably the most iconic scene of the whole movie for me. I wish it was done as a diorama set with a bit of a sky background. I might go for Toruk Makto as well but I'll see how the reviews are

I can totally understand why the likes of Norm and the Amp Suit didn't come with guns, since they're actually firearms instead of lazer guns, but I feel using the chainsaw as a basis you can make a moc of the AMP MG and just use the star wars blasters as replacement guns since a lot of the guns in the movie had scopes of some kind

Overall tho, price is meh, but as an Avatar fan I'm really excited to see these sets be made :)

Wow, I was hoping for a Scorpion/Sampson vehicle but with it being a military vehicle (still pretty realistic despite being fantasy) I figured it wouldn't definitely not be something they'd make. Definitely looking forward to getting multiple of all these sets. Sure the Sampson would be better if it was bigger but just happy that they even made one, plus the lab is fully enclosed. And in response to the lab size, if I remember right they are modular structures that were connected together in the film so can understand why it's small. Do wonder if there will be some string so you can carry it, had those hook pieces on each corner.

As a Rock Raiders fan, I’m excited to see the return of the trans-green boulders. If that first set goes on sale and seems like good value, I’ll pick one up

I agree with you, I’m less excited about the more cartoony figure art style in the graphic design. I prefer like in 2013 when things first got fairly realistic (especially in Star Wars)

These look gorgeous, the 5 playsets are great for making a Felucia MOC from SW. The helo and base could have been a bit bigger and there should have been a Tom minifigure but I adore these.

For how realistic and visually detailed the movies are, I don’t know why Lego went with these simple designs. The chainsaw and other designs look very simple. I think I’ll skip this theme

the flora they’ve been including in these sets reminds me so much of Xen from Half Life and it just solidifies my desire for Half Life Lego sets
