The lack of a rotating crown is a good thing. Sold my GTS 4 and switched to Garmin because that crown was extremely annoying when running hard or sprinting when cycling.

Bro proud of you as only one person who hailed goods and bads of amazfit. I think amazfit is going moderate and increasing price thinking themselves as good as samsung or apple. So weird

Thanks for your video, gave me an idea of how the Active is. My Amazfit GTS 3 recently died, after 2 years of intense use, but i really liked that watch. Now i just bought the GTS 4, and with an average use, the battery wouldn't last more than 2 days, so I am returning it after a week of use. Since I still like amazfit i am wondering if i should get the Active or the GTS 4 Mini, as you said before the Active battery life lasts at least 6 days to you. Which one would you consider buying, the GTS 4 mini or the Active if battery is important to you? Thank you!!

Watching this in June 2024 - Active is currently going for 115 USD, GTR 4 is going for 170 USD, and the older GTS 3 is going for 90 USD. Any thoughts on which watch if whether the older GTS 3 is ultimately a better deal than the Active, or if the GTR 4 is worth the extra $55?

Redmi Watch 4 for the win... I own the Amazfit GTR2e, GTR 4 and the Balance... A lot of features are paid like aura and watch faces. The app is cluttered and all watches are super slow on bluetooth connect... The Redmi Watch 4 is super quick on connect and pretty precise and got a simple app and crazy battery life. Love the tiles setup on Redmi but could wish for more watch faces and a bit annoyed on the date format MM:DD :( Love that the Redmi have a crown and auto brightness. Also loves when I put my phone in DND the watch also goes in DND 👍 Sleeptracking is also better on Redmi since I work nightshifts, amazfit didn't recon that I slept in the day

It's true that Amazfit is now overpriced. I chose to buy the Redmi Watch 4 over Amazfit. I still have my 3 year old GTS2, although it's battery life is only at 3-4 days.

I'd still choose my GTS2 over the Active.

An active crown or bezel I can go without, but having to manually adjust the brightness every time I go indoors is a big turn off.
