The Rise and Fall of Fish Hooks: What Happened?

Fish Hooks was an early 2010s Disney cartoon revolving around high-schoolers Milo, Oscar and Bea, going through adventures as they battle fish tank life, high school life and romantic encounters. The show lasted for a few seasons, racking up 110 episodes in its whole run. So, what happened? Why did Fish Hooks end? Well, today, I'll answer that question.

This show is something that I VIVIDLY remember watching almost religiously when I was younger but I can hardly recall it.

Am i the only one who thinks this show needed that "origins" episode? An episode where we get to see how did exactly Oscar and Milo met Bea and why they became best friends since then would be interesting.

I actually liked Fish Hooks. The fact that its often in those "shows you forgot existed" type of lists always seems weird to me.

Fish hooks is one of those shows that I remember, but I can only remember the theme song, but I barley remember the actual episodes.

I thought Shellsea was rather iconic. She's very sassy and gives off the mean girl vibe without actually being the very stereotypical two-faced back-stabbing best friend. She clearly cares for Bea as she's by her side and been with her this whole show, but she shows this in her own classy way. Shellsea is like Ponyhead from Star vs. the force of Evil, bold and feisty and you can't really change as a character cause they love who they are and sometimes we love who they are.

I remember constantly being obsessed with Bea and Oscars relationship. Seeing them together in the end after watching this video really made me happy for them

I cant deny it-- I LOVED Fish Hooks. It was literally one of my favorite shows at that time. Whenever someone brings it up, I just get hit with nostalgia.

One episode that I remember contributing to the “romance arc” was the camping episode (two-parter) where Bea dates Brandon Bubbler and Oscar actually shows some disdain for her taking advantage of him. I believe it was the end of this episode that first showed Bea’s feelings for Oscar. In the end it is hinted when she tells Shellsea about trying to date a new type and it cuts to Oscar being his lovable awkward self. Sorry for the long message but I just felt really nostalgic about this part of the show

I loved _Fish Hooks_ when I was younger since the day I first saw the teaser promo! It was enjoyable, pretty funny and very fun to watch. Ahh, childhood.

I actually really loved this show as a kid. That clip from the first episode where Milo and Bea found her photo really stuck with me. Helped me remember how to spell “Beautiful”
