Steve Vai - Hand On Heart (Cover)
Today I'm playing "Hand On Heart" by one of my favorites, Mr. Vai. I'm doing this using my Ibanez Jem Jr and the Positive Grid Spark Mini to show you that expensive gear isn't always needed.
I hope you enjoy the video.

Awesome as always. I just turned my yellow 87 RG550 into JEM colors with DiMarzio pickups.

Been a quiet fan for many, many years. And over that time...wow! To see the progress you've made...to watch you evolve and musically mature has been nothing short of inspirational. You are one of the most authentic and humble guitarists out there. Not an ounce of ego behind your chops. Just the results of disciplined and hard work on display to share with the world. This video epitomizes you in a nutshell - you take a modest instrument....great in its own right...and prove that all that one needs is a desire and the will to play greatly. You played this song without any delay or reverb...no fancy Eventide rack...no tricks...no long hair getting in the way...just raw talent and skill....making that instrument sing. You da man!

Elmo bro, you nailed it! Hand on Heart is one of my top 5 Via songs. The fucked up thing is i have been a Vai fan since 1985 and i heard this song for the first time 2years ago lmao!

That was awesome. Really great technique. Proving that expensive gear is not necessary.

Great playing and great sound! The tapping section on minute 3:19 is awesome! It would be great if you make a short video explaining how to do it... 🙂

I have a Vox ACT, have had a Hughes and Kettner mini, a Ampli-firebox and several Neural DSP amplifier packs. For warmth, tone, consistency, and ease of dialing in a good tone, none of them compares with my Spark 40. I love that amp!

Actually very nice to hear you play with so much feeling & not so much shredding for a change…. Keep up great work Elmo 🤘🏼

I've never been a fan of his solo work, but you did an amazing job. I like the aggression of Malsteen better.
