She's no friend. I get kicked in the head and knocked in your house and you won't run to call the police? She's a liar who didn't want to get in trouble for whatever was going on at that party.

She knew there were minors there. That's why she didn't want to call 911.

Whether he's actually injured or not, someone was assaulted. Call the police. She def had people there who weren't supposed to be drinking and didn't want police there. IF someone broke your door down you'd call the police right there for damage of property. She's a liar and trying to cover herself.

I love the defendant. His demeanor and his speech.

Gather round children, and listen well: When you offer your guests an open bar, you can be held responsible if your guests hurt themselves or each other.

There were illegal things happening at that party that the plaintiff didn't want the police to see. It's the only explanation that makes any sense.
Whether it was underage drinking, drugs, or something else I don't know; but there was definitely something illegal going on there and she didn't want the police anywhere near her party.

If someone is likely to have a head injury, don't believe anything they tell you about their condition. Take them to a doctor. My husband got into an accident and had a concussion. Apparently he just drove home without taking the other drivers insurance or checking anything. and was being very weird. He was like how'd I get here? Strange reactions to things. I didn't know anything until I went to the garage and the car was crunched up. Then I took him to the emergency room and he still wasn't convinced he needed attention. He told the ER he didn't need to be there and I was making it up. They did a scan and it wasn't anything truly terrible but he had a concussion.

Hi. I had an issue once when my dad was almost unconscious in his house. My sis and I were yelling and yelling for him, but he couldn’t respond. We called the police, they broke through the door and we called an ambulance, and dad was hospitalized for a week. … Later, months after dad recovered… The landlord said he wanted me to pay for the door because I could have gotten a key from him. … I had no idea who he was, nor that anyone of that authority was even in the complex. (Dad never spoke of him.) …I did NOT pay for it.

The adult presence of these young people shows a bar that I hope we as humans reach again.

"Judge Judy, please! Please! Let me testify! I have something important to say. Okay... I was going to say he kicked the door really hard to get in to call the police. He almost could have kicked me but I was too far away so he didn't."

Wow, the whole case has been broken wide open. If anything, that proves how serious the situation was, that he was that frantic to call for help.

I can't believe this plaintiff! What in the HELL was she thinking!? In the first place, she openly admitted that she had no idea that three uninvited guests walked into her home because she was in the back area having fun. If she’s hosting a party in her own home, it's HER responsibility to know who comes in and who goes out, and if there are people in her home that she doesn't know or didn’t invite, she should've asked them to leave. In the second place, just because somebody manages to get up from the floor after they've been punched in the face, kicked in the head, and rendered unconscious, she can't assume that the person is okay. For all we know, there were internal injuries due to the kick to the head that she clearly does not see, and she is not a medical professional either. In the third place, you would think after an assault had taken place in her own home, that would be a clue to contact the local authorities and to press charges against the one who committed the assault. Finally in the fourth place, she's filing a lawsuit towards somebody who had to kick down the door because they were trying to get help for someone?! If someone kicked down her door because they had a bad temper, they were incredibly violent, or attempted harm towards her or someone else, that's a different story. I hope this young woman learned something from this experience and that now she knows better about making sure that every individual who steps into her home is someone that she knows really well.

They were well spoken dudes, helped them a lot, came off as very genuine. Missy in no position to evaluate someone just by looking at them.
