Hy all together!!! Its cool to see ya all United. I love american woodworking videos. Im watching all the time even if im working...lol. cool to see such a big community. I ask my cousin a time ago. And he told me woodworking is in america almost hobby # 1
I wood like to live there. Here in austria there is only a shop called bauhaus its like home depot or lowe's . But no shop like rockler or something i Bought a biesenmeyer fence from alan little (askwoodman.com) and i payed 250 dollars for the fence and for shippong and tax about 250 dollars again. (About 320 euro).very expensive

grads on your first Google+ show.  sorry I couldn't be there.  one thought on the disc sander ideas, I think the wood lathe is the best multi task tool in the shop.  not only can it be a disc sander (patrick's work shop), you can make it a belt sander (pocket83) and a thickness drum sander (many examples out there).  that's 4 in one uses on one machine that can be set up in just a couple of minutes.  do you have a wood lathe?
