The village you pass through is always fun to see, especially in the early hours you do this at as folks are setting up. But its your content and if you're tightening up the test content, that's fun. Maybe do these villages as part of the lazy Sunday drives instead.

My now wife stays up in the mountains of Doi Chang, and our house is about 1000m above sea level. I have rented many different vehicles when I visit, and basically any NA engine less than 1.5L displacement is going to struggle with going up steep mountain roads. Part of the problem is the power loss due to altitude (about 3% every 1000ft/300m). Turbocharged engines fare better with minimal or no power loss. Obviously electric vehicles will not have this problem at all, no power loss due to altitude.

Super dangerous roads, everyone drives on the wrong side of the road.

I really like the mounting climb / descent videos. says something about the real capacity of a car. If the cooling system is ok. But this one is without OBD data and that is a pity. Now we don't know the battery temp etc.
you said that fossil cars are struggling uphill. Most time caused by drivers not using the correct gear. advantage of the fossil cars is that they have an electric driven fan that can compensate the missing airflow.

Did you find the reason for half the consumption on deepal? because I remember most cars in that route you test consume about 600Wh/km 'ish

Or Maybe you were driving slower 40'sh vs old videos you even went 70'ish km/hr?

Does the car remember custom driving mode and regen level after restarting, I hate that on my EV always setting in again on starting the car.

you should measure the banana boxes just in case they get destroyed and you cant find any others so you can make them yourself

Good morning Bjørn.
I would ask you please if it is possible for you to do a 1000Km challenge with the model 3 LR RWD. I really appreciate your tests and they are undoubtedly the ones that resemble reality to find out charging times, curves and real autonomy. Thank you very much in advance and Merry Christmas.
