Unboxing the Voigtländer Color Skopar f2.8 18mm Lens for Fujifilm X-Mount

Back when I used Pentax DLSRs, these cameras would couple with the SMC-A series lenses so we would have all the features offered by the camera except auto focus.

I have always wanted the same capability for my Fujifilm cameras and now we do. The Voigtländer lenses have the necessary electronic couplings to permit full integration with the camera body, except for auto focus.

We get full EXIF data plus parallax correction and D0F info when we pair these lenses with an X-Pro3 or equivalent camera body. For many photographic applications, auto focus can be a hinderance as much as a help. If we're looking for the full film experience with an X-Pro3, then these Voigtländers are the way to go.
