Blender - 3D animation travel map on a globe

This animation is made with Blender. It shows a travel trip over a long distance and a growing line.
Models used:
- High Resolution world map from Nasa (the earth in march 2004 - Visible Earth - Blue Marble Collection - thanks to NASA!)
- model of a Boeing 427

Of course, this can be ameliorated:
- some artifacts by compressing (see smal steps in red airplane)
- sync between airplane and line
- acceleration of airplane (at start/end)
- position of the line above the globe
