Fun fact: Sartori was a presidential candidate on the 2019 elections on Uruguay. Losing on the interns to the now-president Luis Lacalle Pou, so, we could have had a president that was also a Sunderland shareholder.

Here, he came through as a good guy, but a bit of a populist, the kind of kiss babies and help old men type, but he had good ideas, specially on the economic side, on how try to get the country going again.

The Will Grigg debacle was the funniest thing I'd seen

Last time I was this early, Adam Johnson was still a footballer

Charlie Methven seemed to have took the job on the basis he could turn the stadium of light into a nightclub . And Stewart Donald put all his hope on Grigg getting then promoted. Couldn't offer maja more money but spent 4m on Grigg. Baffling

I thought Bain was a decent character is season one. He seemed really nice to the staff and wanted what's best for the club

Jack Ross was definitely unfairly treated imo but its Hibs gain and their loss

Not being funny - if I'd seen season two and had any dealings with Metheven's PR Company, I'd immediately look elsewhere - the guy is an absolute pratt.

As for the Maja saga - it's a choice between League One, and Ligue 1 - even if the wages were the same, anyone in their right mind would pick the move to a top 5 league instead of staying in the third tier of English football. Seemed like Sunderland, some fans, and the documentary still thought they were a Premier League club, when that simply isn't the case.

As a West Bromwich Albion fan, who's club went through a similar fall fall from grace in the 80's/90's ; i have a lot of empathy for the fans of Sunderland - a club with working class fans ( as do the Albion ) Black cats fans may have to be patient ; whilst striving to return to where they feel they belong, but rest surely will ! Good luck for next season

“Charlie Methven wasn’t as detestable as Martin Bain”, you lost me at that and must’ve been on the Broon. Textbook workplace bullying on the touch line.

How is Bain the villain? Yeah he wasn’t the best but a Villain?

Also, why was Will Grigg worth 4 Million. They seriously overspent for him. And it didn’t work out really well
