It’s actually a sign of respect for someones home/space for a visitor to remove their shoes upon entering. For me it’s a requirement (I keep footies at the door in a basket.)… and I remove my shoes before entering others homes/spaces.

I’m actually adding a bed to our living room also. It’s a full size daybed with a pull out trundle for more cozy sitting. It’s a really large room and I thought it would be cozy and inviting if we had anyone who wanted to stay the night or just to curl up on to watch a movie with the hubby. My bedroom has very little windows and I like to lounge on a bed better than a couch however I feel so closed in without windows. So I totally get why you’d want your bed in a nice bright space. I love your room. Thanks for the room tour😊

Love your style and vision! You’ve inspired me to add more colour and funkiness to my apartment. Also! We have a small tv and my family always say we need to upgrade cause the tv looks too small in the space, but our argument is that we don’t want the tv to be the focal point of the room AND it gets the job done. 🧡🧡🧡 love yah!
