I own several detectors, a couple of Airthings Corentium devices, the model 223 is the one you share in this video, This device is their most accurate consumer level product.

Measuring Radon has to be done over an extended period, to achieve accurate measurements takes about one month.

Mine is showing 22.37 for long term and 22.56 short term. What does it mean? As you can see mine has two digits before the decimal. I don’t understand what that means

What is that little white plastic tab in the upper left corner of the front of the Corentium? Not the battery-compartment tab - the white plastic tab, on the upper left front. It (the white plastic tab) looks fragile. Will the unit function if it falls off ...?

Since Radon is seven & a half times heavier than air, shouldn't the detector be mounted nearer to the floor of the room it's situated in?

Thanks ! Mine came after shipping with errors ERR right after CAL ibration. So I decided to contact support : they told me Ebay wasn’t a proper reseller, blabla. I then decided to keep it ON for 48h and see what happens. It was in error and after a reset it started functioning with the 0 day black dot blinking. Btw, I am not sure your basement readings are “so alarming”. Beyond healthy level yes but alarming, based on what?

Awesome reviews! I have seen other reviewers on YouTube who used the same radon gas detector. They have been using it in the basement. The only place that I am concerned is the basement because I go to the basement frequently. If it cannot be used in the basement, is there any other detector that can be used in the basement? Thanks.

1.8 really isn't that high. You really mitigating for that? I wouldn't even mitigate the basement unless its over 4.0 after 90 days avg.

you cant to calibrate on top of a stone, if your granite have torio or uranium you arent going to know, you need to calibrate in a garden in free air or something like that. and excuseme for my grammar, iam panamenian and i know just a little of english

Anything under 4 or 2 is no need whatsoever to do anything at all. Why do you feel the need to do so?
