Comparison of unbuffed vs buffed version of Sonic Wave.
Unbuffed (rated) version: 26681070
Buffed (Mefewe's) version: 39942311
How the overlay works: red color channel is taken from buffed version, green and blue - from unbuffed version. So, if the color of a pixel in both versions are same, then after overlaying its color is NOT distorted. If there is a difference, then the color is distorted depending on which color channels prevail.

If mefewe had beaten his version, that would be so insane. Mefewe’s Sonic Wave is significantly harder than even Sunix’s version which is freaking MILES above the #2 demon at the time (Bloodbath). If Mefewe beat his version, Spacial Rend, Artificial Ascent, Erebus, Yatagarasu, Plasma Pulse Finale and possibly even Bloodlust would not have been top 1

I’m pretty sure sonic wave rebirth originally had the same gameplay as Mefewe’s version then was changed back to unbuffed when officially released.
