Fun fact: In the og story, the researcher who dubbed the creature “Anantashesha” when it was discovered by the foundation was very regretful that he called it that. He was of Hindu faith and thought he found the great naga King of legend. However, when he was finally able to see it himself… he was killed by it and his last words were “We were wrong.” But it’s still referred to by that name since the name wasn’t revoked.
