He is truly a good guy. My granddaughter and her boyfriend have been huge fans from the beginning. Anyway, her boyfriend got hit by a car a year ago and his parents flew in to be with him. They saw Post at the SLC airport, told him their son was a fan, not only did he give them an autograph, but made a personal video message wishing him a speedy recovery. I have mad respect for him.

I’m a girl dad and after hearing this song, I think Posty just wrote a daddy/daughter wedding dance song for the next 20+ years. Much like people still play Tim McGraw “My Little Girl” I think this will get as much play for decades to come

my first baby was my daughter who is now 9. when i heard this song.... it completely had me balling and my wife (luckily) was in the passenger seat supporting me. i have 2 girls and a boy right now but this family all started with that little girl. shes everything

Watching the younger generation experience and appreciate the music that I grew up with (b. 1961) gives me hope. IMHO there was depth and humanity to this music that is mostly lacking in more recent productions and artists. Watching you experience this gives me the kind of joy I get watching my grown children do things together that I did with them when they were children.

I hope you have the girl dad relationship my husband has with his daughters. It is unreal at how his 30 year old daughters respect him so much. And if he don’t hear from one of them each day, it’s like his world is broken. And all the grandkids think he is it. One of the 14 year olds told her great Aunt, to just pull the car over and her and her brother would get out. And she only had to call her pappa, and he would leave work and come get them. And he would have. He goes out of his way to do things with them. He’s not about Christmas gifts, he’s about taking time to spend with them.
