That was awesome. I did not think the effect would come out looking as nice, but it really did make a huge difference once applied.

Wonderful video - very well explained, comprehensive and even with references to the origin of the idea. Great work! I admire your enthusiasm and effort that must have gone in to the making of this. Thank you for sharing!

A lot of good techniques in this one. The brush dynamics I haven't used much and I like the way you used it painting the mask.

Great tutoria Sergre. For anyone moaning about adds, turns out youtube has this slider that allows you skip what you dont want to watch, instead opting for the nuclear option.

You can do the same thing in a couple of minutes just using the Brush Tool, white and varying opacity.

Serge, great tutorial there! But could you, next time you process a video, make sure the sides are not cut off? :p We always lose a bit of the tool menu. I know most of the time it's still doable, and I work with PS for 16 years now so I know where the tools are, but for any beginners out there, it may distract them from the main content while they're trying to figure out the tools you're talking about or clicking on. :)

Cheers and Au revoir.

The less you are, or want to be, a descent photographer (that with an eye you know) the more you need tutorials like this one. The less you have a genuine taste for natural beauty the more you want fakes to impress others. Some overPS-ed pictures look a bit like heavily painted street hookers in their mid-age.

Hi Serge, it's amazing that you share these tutorials online. I have been searching exactly for this one for a week now and here you are. Thanks a lot! I am also searching to know the best resolution for 500px uploads. Could you please help me there?

Great Idea to split a tutorial into parts with different tasks!
At first the typical "Ramelli-Style" and then the manipulation.
Is it possible to create another variant?:
"Clouds in a valley and a clear mountain." oder "flames and smoke"

thank you for all of your hard work!  Are you still touring the US?  Have fun!  I am in Alabama.  I saw you were in Georgia in a recent blog.

Hi Serge I love the video but was wondering where I can find the brush number 14 since although I have a subscription on photoshop it is not there. Pls inform me.

You mention a couple of times that the settings I should select for various effects (for example, the Gaussian Blur) depend on the resolution of the photo. Can you expand on that? For example, if the resolution of my photo is lower than yours (I'm assuming it probably is), would I use a higher or a lower value than you use in the video? Would I use a higher value to compensate for the lower resolution, ... or a lower value to compliment the lower resolution? Thanks.
