New EdTech Classroom Student Tutorials!

Sam has just launched a brand new channel: New EdTech Classroom Student Tutorials! All of the videos in this channel are COPPA compliant, so they are safe to use with students in the classroom.

The channel features student educational technology tutorials for Google Classroom, Seesaw, Padlet, Pear Deck, Adobe Spark, Flipgrid, and more. It also features foundational technology tutorials you can show students to teach them how to use Gmail, how to take screenshots, how to split their screen, how to use hyperlinks, and more! New student edtech tutorials will continue to be added on a weekly basis!

Absolutely brilliant! When kids start at my school (high school Year 7, Australia), they are required to have their own Chromebook. I find that so many of them, even well into Y8 and sometimes Y9, don't know how to use GC properly. Adding to this, their skills at using other well-used programs like Google Slides and Docs etc, are sometimes basic. If they don't learn how to use these programs properly, you have the problem of seniors (Y11 & 12) that STILL can't use the programs to the level you require and we just don't have time in senior years to teach this. So as a lockdown project (much of Australia is in lockdown at the moment), I am making a unit of work for Y7 students to learn how to use the G suite programs and get them up to speed and producing better quality work for all the teachers at my school. You have saved me tens of hours of work. THANK YOU so much!

Sam your videos are awesome and very helpful. The only suggestion if you could just slow down a bit. Remember some of us are very new to technology and have to process all this information and are older than many of the average teacher.
