Ultravox - 'Same Old Story' November 30th 1986.

"Same Old Story" was the first single taken from their album "U-VOX". This was to be the bands last album before officially splitting up in 1988. Warren Cann had been sacked earlier in 1986 which turned out to be a very bad move for Ure, Currie and Cross.

Here are the trio, with drummer Pat Ahern, miming along to playback in true 1980's fashion on "Extratour". A popular German music program which ran between 1985 & 1989.

good stuff thank you for making it avail....???? Just released shortly after the Gift Tour midge done in 1985...???? Funny thing is now I can see/hear the Gift Album was more Ultravox than the U-Vox Album Billy should have used more Synthezisers...???? Still an great Rock/Synthy

Top video Astradyne, A bit of a departure for Ultravox with brass included and i have to admit not a great song to me there were only really two Ultravox songs on the UVOX album Sweet Surrender and Dream on but everyone has their own opinion.
