Things got a little wild after I used photogrammetry to convert a bust of my grandpa into a 3D model... then starting printing him.

Things mentioned in the video (some links are affiliate links):

Special thanks to my entire family—most especially Aunt Margie for sharing her Italy story over Zoom, Alan for sharing photos from Rome, and Sam for the initial idea that sparked a months-long journey towards the video you see today!

Jeff, as your mother, this is the Piece De Resistance of all your videos! I laughed, cried, and loved all of it! I love our wacky, wonderful family. You did grandpa proud!

You probably didn't intend for crying, but something about the whole thing got me. Came for 3D printing, stayed for cool story about your grandpa.

You know first I thought the ketchup bottle cap would be a tad inappropriate towards him, but after hearing his story this is totally wholesome!

The story of your grandfather was very touching and funny.
Also, waited the entire video to see your reaction to the 'coffee enhanced' donut, priceless!

I buried my parents this last year. Mom and Dad were married for 62 years. They passed 9 months apart. Dad was 87 and Mom was 83. You told a beautiful story Jeff. Thank you for that. I need loud music now.

This is such a beautiful hommage to your grandfather. If more people had caring and loving relatives I think the world would be a happier place.

In my case, my mother obsessed about a chocolate shoe she saw as a child in a confectionery shop that her parents could not afford to buy her, so on her 80th birthday my sister had one hand made which required considerable skill on behalf of the confectioner.

Its funny the things that form our memories.

A great video, not just tech or raspberry pi, but emotional heart-warming story intertwined with technology.

Ketchup grandpa is amazing. I wish I'd known either of my grandfathers, but this made me smile. Thank you.

This is your best video up till now, buddy. The one with less spoken technical details (with links to cope with it), but it has tech as it should be at least most of the time: a great tool for making life better. Great job!

That was a little different, but enjoyable! Your grandpa had great taste. Ketchup on veal is amazing. I sometimes make it into a sandwich with buttered wonder bread too. chef's kiss.
