The pandemic really was a gift to artists in many ways. It's inspiring when there is such a new, collective experience with much uncertainty and with people reacting in such different, often extreme ways. And it was also a good time for many people to get started with art. Many people suddenly had time on their hands that they just didn't have before, and some of them made good use of it and decided to learn how to draw or paint or anything else that is creative.
And me personally, I loved it. This unusual situation gave me entirely new ideas for my art. I know, people get angry when someone says this, but for me this was a great time.

The part about covid and historical pandemics was interesting. The one about the art, well, I don't like that it pushes a system that creates artificial digital scarcity (NFT). Not happy with that.

NFTs "cannot be copied" is wrong. NFTs can be copied, but in contrast to other digital art, they can be owned with digital forge-proof certificates, so copying to look at them is possible, but copying and wrongly claiming ownership (or copyright) is not.
