Into The Stars - Oregon Trail, In Space, With Lasers

Into The Stars puts you in the role of captain of the last human colony ship, making a desperate voyage across uncharted space to a new homeworld. On the way you will find important resources on planets, assign crew to deal with problems on the ship and occasionaly deal with the hostile aliens which are doing their best to make humnity extinct.

LOL, I was brainstorming a sci-fi litrpg idea and thought, "why not Oregon Trail to the Stars"? By habit, I checked online if the concept already had been done and ... yup, found this vid. Thanks Scott. Now I have another reason why I stay sub'd to your channel. ;)

I am a native Oregonian, and in elementary school (mid 90s), we played Oregon Trail for a history lesson. I still remember spending hours hunting extra meat needlessly.

oh oh oh ark-13! there is a top-down adventure game of the same name. You crash your ark ship into a frozen planet and uncover all these mysterious caves and cultures. :D

fantastic, can you do this in other types of ships that have different bonuses or is it only what you  put in the ship's slots that changes?

Hey scott have you ever played the mass effect trilogy? I know it's a RPG but still it has a very interesting lore about its fictional universe

A thing I dislike about this game is the design of your ship and the fact you don't get to choose different ships each with its own attributes.

P.S: how can you get animal infestations on space?!
