before we start to talk about rewards, they should change the whole format of kotc. 4 hours straight is not managable for workers, fathers and many more people. let it be 10-15 matches, like in cfb or fifa and rank people by 1. amount of wins and 2. amount of points earned. i dont know why they are so stupid. the weekend league format has been out for over a decade and still 2k wasnt able to apply it to their game. is it a rights issue? other than that its just a shame.

2K has always been like this. I opened a lot of Laser Focus packs... and got lucky enough to get 2 pink diamonds, and BOTH of them were Tyler Herro (not Hakeem, not Kawhi, not even KG). 2 Tyler Herro's!!!

As bad as EA is in other ways, they have the best ultimate team mode. You can always pop in, do some solos, and get multiple elite cards. I hadn't played in over a month, came back, did the AKA solos and got the best QB in the game at the time for free. Had enough tokens left to get another one but decided to save them for the next release. That's the beauty of MUT. So many spending tiers. NMS, SMS, AMS and everything in between can be competitive as far as cards. in 2K it's just Whales and everybody else. Playing the game gets you nothing. Last year it did, but then they got greedy and started restricting the player market. They are way too greedy.

Kotc is going down. Splash had to wait 15 minutes for one game, every week there will be less player willing to enter this mode. Hidden gem is a trap. All lock ins for card wortk 50k mt. People just don't get it

I locked in the Tatum set after getting him and Dirk from singles and I got GO Chris Bosh which is honestly one of the best and most usable ones I’ve seen. His release could be a bit faster but I’m not going to complain when it could’ve been Tony Parker or Tiny archibald. Guess it makes up for the 8 diamond hidden gems I got across KOTC, agendas, exchanges, door game in showdown etc and 7 of the 9 were 6’2 and under PGs that either couldn’t dunk or couldn’t I didn’t get one usable one from all those grinds. But they’re definitely rigged where you won’t get a pack seller like a LeBron, Kareem, Giannis, Steph. It’s just like all the PD hidden gems people locked in before the good ones came out in packs, I never once saw a Wemby pulled, dr j, Booker, Giannis, Paul George, Porzingis. 2k knows what they’re doing and it’s sad man.

Tbh Ty, if every single mode feels like a waste of time, that might say more about where you’re at mentally with the game. I only play about an hour or two a day usually and have a bunch of fun, even when I’m not upgrading my team by huge leaps and bounds.
