I started modeling by reaching out to photographers in my area and asking them to do a collaboration, they get a free model and I get photos for my portfolio, if they want me to wear a specific piece of clothing I do require they pay for it but other than that I've done amazing collaboration with alot of photographers and some modeling agencies reached out to me for me to model things like make up brands or clothes

Starting influencing also helps big time! Agencies and brands nowadays are more likely to work with you if you have a social media following. Also, practicing taking pictures of yourself can help a lot when you go to take pics with professional photographers! You don't need a fancy camera to take cool pics, just a creative mind and a good understanding of lighting composition and how to edit pics (my holy grail for editing is Adobe Lightroom!)

I don't have an agency yet, but have landed a good amount of modeling jobs. I'd suggest finding out if there are any auditions for runway shows or photoshoots. If you don't get in, you can always try to find more places! You'll eventually get in
