NIA CONDUCTS RAIDS ACROSS JAMMU & KASHMIR IN TERROR FUNDING CASE

NIA conducted searches at 13 locations in a case related to conspiracy for carrying out terrorist activities. Raids conducted at - Budgam, Shopian, Pulwama, Srinagar, and Anantnag districts of Jammu and Kashmir in a case pertaining to terror funding by Jamaat-e-Islami in Jammu and Kashmir. Jamaat-e-Islami has been registered as 'unlawful' under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. Earlier on May 4, Central anti-terror agency also carried out searches in Jammu and Kashmir. Jamaat-e-Islami has been found carrying out terror funding activities in Jammu and Kashmir
