SCV 1990 - Field Percussion Judge's Tape

This is a fun tape of a drumline with an expressive and dynamic touch and a superb quality of sound. Tons of fantastic playing captured here. Some of my fav parts:
- Anything and everything that the tenor line plays
- Drum solo at 5m 50s, spot on with the snare and tenor features
- Backfield solo 32nd note singlet spock drum roll at 7m 52s
- Modulating snare roll 10m 40s

Ralph’s musical writing has never been matched. So supportive and expressive and loaded with so much nuanced demand. Truly perfection. This book doesn’t seem to get enough attention, imo.
