My Buds Pro 2 just arrived and sadly you are correct on the sound...it is terrible/bloated and shouty. Much worse than the original CMF Buds Pro. Note, the bass is much better if you turn off the "Ultra Bass" function that is turned on/level 3 by default. I am surprised and disappointed, the worse sounding new buds I have heard in quite a while.

completely out of topic but do you think the dolby atmos in apple music makes any difference for IEMs. I liked it when using on an iPad but hated it in a Redmi
