What were the prophetic blessings Jacob bestowed upon his 12 sons? Who would become the patriarchs of the 12 tribes of Israel? Torah Class teacher Tom Bradford shows the significance of these blessings, not just as predictions of their future actions but as characterizations of what each tribe would become over time. Focusing on Judah as prophesied to lead and produce the royal lineage, ultimately leading to the Messiah.

Thanks for the teaching.

Gen 39 :11 - connects to Yeshua's coming.
He will tether his donkey to a vine, his colt to the choicest branch;
he will wash his garments in wine, his robes in the blood of grapes.

v11a - this is the connection to His 1st coming on a donkey.
Captured in Matt 21 : 1-3
1As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples, 2 saying to them, “Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me. 3 If anyone says anything to you, say that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away.” 4 This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet:
5 “Say to Daughter Zion, ‘See, your king comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey, and on a colt, the foal of a donkey.’”

Matt 21 : 5 was fulfillment of Gen 49 : 11 & Zech 9 :9

Let's look at 2nd part of
Gen 49 : 11. The garments in colour of wine & robes in blood of grapes brings to mind Rev 19 :11-13 & Isa 63 :1-6

We see this in Rev 19 : 11-13,
11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. 12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. 13 He *is dressed in a robe dipped in blood*, and *his name is the Word of God*.

For sure, it is referring to Yeshua coming back as the conquering King in the 2nd coming.
Isa 63 : 1-6 gives very clear explanation why His garments were stained red. It is the Day of the Lord, His judgment is on those who oppose Him - battle of Armageddon

In one v in Gen 49 :11, two comings of our Lord are conveyed!❤
