Thanks for the video. I won't be able to utilize the vst this way but its nice to know its an option. I've been starting beats on iMaschine2 on iphone and sending it to Maschine to finish but because of that I have multiple Groups. I just open up Maschine as a standalone as well as Ableton and use the Ableton link function on both as if they are on two different computers. I love how technology is so flexible now.

could you please elaborate a bit more in detail what settings (6:50) you do set in the maschine control ... i use an mk1 and there seems to be some things missing on the control GUI. Do i need a special Ableton 10 Template or is Ableton 9 sufficient?

new to this all. so i have mph 49 came with live lite than got the mk2 controller and software, had for a while then gave up. i could not find the VSTs of each to put in a folder nor know how. should i uninstall everything and install again. will lose music i did create at the time. how can i do this? and be able to do what you do. i like your set up. keep it up.!! I'm inspired

Is there a way to record MIDI data into Ableton, whilst NOT in MIDI MODE?
ie - I want to be able to use the Maschine controller functions eg 'Note Repeat' and have that MIDI info record directly into Ableton.

Hi thank you for the video. One question, is this system work only with the group kit of maschine? For example if I select a sound inside maschine and I want to use the pads to play it in every note, how can it work? Because the triggering from ableton is only to one Sound in maschine, and I can use the mk3 only in midi mode. Any suggestion?

So I haven’t bought Abelton yet I’m strictly Maschine. I want to get Abelton and eventually the push 2. My vision is to use Maschine for browsing and loading NI sounds and kits and use the Push and Abelton to arrange things. Can you provide templates loading midi routing for an instrument and drum kits? I plan to download the trial Abelton and trying it out.
