FCBC family hear our guest preacher Rev. Dr. Timothy W. Sloan, Senior Pastor of The Luke Church in Humble, TX, brought his inspiring messages and uplifting spirit to FCBC on Tuesday Feb 21st. That evening he touched hearts, with a powerful word.

In this inspiring sermon by Rev. Dr. Sloan titled "I Still Believe" reading from Mark 5:35-40, he reminds us that trials only come to make us stronger and that God moves mysteriously. Challenges have a way of testing our faith, and they never come at the right time.

Dr. Sloan also reminds us of the power of the black church and the strength of melanin miracles. He emphasizes the importance of faith and trusting God even when we can't trace Him. Nothing can stand against Jesus, and no matter what we're facing, nothing can stand against God.

He reminds us that God can do anything but fail and that prayer is not an errand we send someone on. We have to go to the Lord ourselves and learn how to pray for ourselves.
