KutaSoftware: PreAlgebra- One Step Inequalities: Add/Subtract

Inequalities appear in our every day life. Lots of times, we just solve them in our heads. Graphing them is just a matter of shading in the values that the variable represents on a number line.

In this video, I go over when to fill in the circle and when to leave it empty. I also discuss how to rewrite an inequality to make reading it a little easier. And remember, if you get confused on which way to shade, just pick a value and see if that makes the inequality correct or wrong. If it makes it correct/true, then shade so that the chosen value is included.
