So apparently black crewmate goes crazy into thinking someone is the impostor, in which he then realized it was him all along and gets sent off into space.

This is like, a great lore for an imposter, who isn't an muder alien, it's a crazy and paranoid crewmate, almost all the death screens show the imposter shooting a gun, cracking your neck, stabbing your back, like, those things just need a psycopath crewmate, not an murder alien-shapeshifter

"The Impostor" was a mere joke among the Crew so they would stop messing around and do their tasks. It was said that The Impostor is a monster that would take the form of a Crewmate and kill anyone in its way while being sneaky about it to avoid detection. They could go through the vents, they could come out of nowhere. But nobody believed these rumors... until that is, Black saw this little rumor as the truth. He went around blaming people to try and regain his sanity, going through the vents to find the Impostor before it could find his dear crewmates. But paranoia and anxiety made him do something irrational... he saw EVERYONE as the impostor.
"No one believes me, they must ALL be Impostors!" he thought.
He went on a killing spree, picking off his crewmates one by one, effectively becoming the very definition of the Impostor himself.
After he was ejected, word spread around. Many Crews across many different spaceships heard about the incident. They too thought the Impostor was real... and a few of their fellow Crewmates would go through the same predicament as the original Black.
So the process repeats itself, over and over... who's the Impostor? Are you the Impostor? Am I?
In truth, there IS no Impostor... the only impostor to fear is fear itself.

My lore:
This was a social experiment to see how people would react to being on a team with other strangers. The crewmates were placed on the ship and told to maintain it for an indefinite period. As the experiment designers were leaving, the goofy one turned around and said, “Watch out for that imposter among you! 😉”
The other designers frowned, but let it pass, thinking nothing of it.
Unbeknownst to the crewmates, there _was_ no imposter…until one of their own couldn’t bear the stress and paranoia any longer…

The experiment designers returned to find less than half of the original crew remaining.
“What happened?” A designer shrieked.
The crewmates turned to the designers with numb, deadened expressions.
“We found the Imposter, ” said Red.

THE STORY!!!
Black thinks that someone on the ship is an imposter, and while he looks for them, he goes crazy and becomes so confused and fearful of others that he starts killing them in order to kill the imposter, but there was no imposter until black became one by killing all the innocents.
At least that's what I think the story is, let me know if you think it was something else or if there even is a story

Ok, lore time
The Black crewmate was actually a crewmate, but he was thinking that maybe someone may be the impostor, so the paranoia made him lose control and start killing everybody suspicious to him
And that's how he became *the impostor*

Savage theory: Actually, there is no impostors among the crewmates but the idea of one of theme being a impostors makes one (two or three) of them really paranoid and kills crewmates who he things they are the impostor without knowing he is the real impostor.

That explains why black start killing crewmates at the end after acusate everyone and the message says he was the impostor.
